The risk with exchanges isn't the hack of the exchange itself. The real risk is bad management of passwords/emails.
Not having hardware wallet support is enough reason for me to avoid touching a project (being HIVE and LEO one of the few exceptions).
Trust me, invest in a hardware wallet ASAP.
