It's official. After a couple of little delays seems that well have our Wrapped LEO tomorrow. What does that mean?
Essentially a lot of good things, but my favourites are liquidity and a very much needed market awareness. Special mention of this new model with much better security in terms of funds management. It will also be cheaper for exchanges/data aggregators to list LEO, because now we have a 'defined' max supply of 10M.

--@trumpman: A PENIS.
--@empoderat: Yeah yeah... sure... someone else?
--@trumpman2: an avocado?? if not you're a stupid egocentric idiot.
--@empoderat: jeeeeeeeeez...
(sorry for the idiotic joke btw, it's a bit late in my timezone and I started doing intermittent fasting again so I needed the mental break to keep writing fluently... anyway, back to the matter;)
And that's exactly what LEO is right now. In a much better position than 1 month and 1 day ago, when we had ~450K$ in liquidity exactly before being hacked.
Why? because we survived one of the most difficult things to survive in the crypto industry.
Something like that (at a much bigger scale) killed Mt. Gox back in 2013.
For us, it wasn't 'as big of a hack', but being Leofinance still that tiny, it was a 'momentum killer' (potentially) which could easily have been the end of the venture.
Live footage of the wleo 1.0 hack...
However (and I recognise that I'm somewhat surprised) Khal as a leader and all the community members we have been able to recover and heal the wound in almost a full month. It's a record if you ask me.
With other projects, when a hack happens (and IF it isn't the end of the project which in most cases is), the effects and the 'bad shadow' of the hack persist for months at a bare minimum.
Like that famous bird, Leofinance waked up from the depths of their worst and probably most critical moment after the Justin Sun takeover of Steem.
As a trader, I like to read charts. And this chart seems healthy in my eyes.
'Number go up, empo happy (unga unga)'.
Almost at pre hack levels... and with Hive tasting the delicious taste of the sidewalk damn. What a world to live in.
Not to mention the growth of the platform:
Impressions going to the roof. Exactly what we need. Doesn't matter the price (at least short term) if we're able to keep getting that consistency. Value always precedes price.
Credit to @taskmaster4450 for his 'daily 10' initiative. I haven't been that active in that matter but at least did my best to keep providing decent content + answering/upvoting most of the comments that I received. Amazing work!
if the value is there (which truly is), we only need a bit of patience :)
It's something which I talked about with @resiliencia a couple of days ago.
I was very excited regarding the WLEO (1.0) launch (and for a good reason!) and this time I'm taking things a bit easier.
For that reason, I have no problem watching from the sidelines for a few days.
The first time we had a massive bounty of ~300K LEO to be shared among 3 months. For that reason made sense to provide the maximum liquidity possible the earliest possible.
This time is different.
Well, you're still incentivised to provide liquidity, but you're not in a rush to do that. The geyser will keep providing rewards for you constantly, (hopefully) for years to come.
According to my calculations (not intensive at all, just a few sketches), the APY for providing liquidity will be around a ~50% APY.
This is a great percentage but is farm from the +100%APY of the first time (for 3 months). Also, keep in mind that every LEO that is powered down to provide liquidity, gives their 'share' of the curators/author pool to the remaining staked LEO.
Which means that these rewards will have to adjust. Assuming that nowadays we're enjoying a ~30% APY for curating, 50% APY rewards for LP's will have to decrease a little bit (or vice-versa).
Assuming that providing liquidity for longer periods of time will yield better results, I'll probably be throwing into the pool some funds occasionally.
Some funds that I don't need now but I want to keep dem accessible.
Some funds that I would want to keep into ETH.
Or just some LEO that I want yielding me profits but not in their staked form...
Anyway. Lots of possibilities. And I just want to enjoy the launch, I'm here overthinking things...
Have a good day everyone. And always take care out there.
