It only feels a bit bad for dan & all the others... I can't imagine how it should feel to see how someone steal from you ~500-1000K worth of $$ in front of your face with you being unable to do anything.

Probably it's the 'easiest' way for them to deal with the problem... I just checked that bittrex still didn't sent the funds back. Probably there's a lot of pressure from both sides behind the curtain.
