Taking the photos of MayD with a saxophone was a fascinating journey into the world of music and emotion. Music is a global language and I am a fan of Jazz and Blues. Knowing I was photographing the photo of a person who provides the genre that feeds my body and soul was awesome.
The saxophone, an extension of his soul, became a conduit for his deepest feelings. He played the music a couple of times during the session and each note played, each breath taken, was a part of his narrative. My lens became a bridge to translate the language of his music into visuals. I aimed to capture the passion, the rhythm, and the intimate connection between the artist and the instrument.
It was a symphony in peace, an exploration of the energy of sound and the emotions it awakens. Each photograph stands as a hymn to the man and his sax.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge today.
