This is a song I really love because the message is simple but very deep. The song is like a prayer to God, asking Him to take us to a deeper place with Him. It says, “Oh Lord, take me to a deeper place. Oh Lord, here is my hands, here is my heart. Take me to a deeper place, oh Lord.”
I chose this song because the message speaks directly to my heart. Sometimes we can know about God, sing about God, and go to church, but there is still a deeper place we need to reach with Him. This song reminds me that my relationship with God should not remain on the surface.
What I love most about the song is the way it talks about giving everything to God. When I say, “Here is my hands, here is my heart,” I see it as giving myself completely to Him. My hands represent what I do, while my heart represents who I am inside. It is like saying, “Lord, everything about me belongs to You.”
One thing I have learned from this song is that we should always desire to know God more. There is always another level of relationship, worship, prayer, and understanding that we can grow into. The message behind this song is a simple prayer for a deeper relationship with God. It is not about asking God only for material things. It is about asking Him to draw us closer to Him. This is why I decided to sing “Yesu” I want to keep growing in my walk with God and always desire to know Him more.
