The worst enemy is better than a fake friend who will only show up during the "butter" and found wanting in the "gutter". It's difficult to find such friends in time of challenges. When you get into the dark, even your shadow won't follow you let alone fake friends. During the wind, the leaves ran away while during the storm branches give up. Only real friends (the roots) stay and never compromise, no matter how difficult the situation may be, they never give up.
