Exactly what it is about, I am very concerned to see how children today fail to justify or argue many of their decisions and opinions, of course as you point out everything according to their cognitive development, there are strategies such as those I mentioned and surely many more that allow them to be people with their own ideas and that is achieved through critical thinking, there is one that I really like and it is with food from the supermarket, We tell the children to choose some food items we can say one or two that we consider and only if they manage to expose why we should buy it beyond that it is just a whim that is to teach them that the packages bring descriptions of the nutritional value, components and simple things that allow them to argue a valid reason for their purchase and consumption we will achieve step by step to awaken that critical thinking.
