Hola, ¿qué tal? Por aquí todo muy bien. No sé por qué razón creía que hoy era lunes, jajajaja, pero es que lo sentía con la misma flojera que un lunes, así que bueno, la verdad, hoy mi día fue bastante tranquilo, pero hace muchísima calor últimamente en la isla, incluso en la oficina.
Hi, how are you? Everything’s going really well here. I don’t know why I thought today was a Monday, ha ha ha, but I just felt as sluggish as I do on a Monday, so, well, to be honest, my day was pretty quiet today, but it’s been absolutely sweltering on the island lately, even in the office.
El día de hoy quería compartir con ustedes una noche tranquila probando nuevas cosas, nos fuimos a un lugar diferente para comer pizza, esta vez nos fuimos para la panadería de la loma muy conocida en el municipio antolín del campo, raro si porque nosotros estamos acostumbrados a comer en Baguette ubicado en la plaza de paraguachí, y si las pizzas son buenisimas pero nada mas de pensar el rato que uno tarda esperando las pizzas se le quita el hambre, y bueno ese día uno quería comer rápido porque veniamos saliendo del compartir de mi sobrina y si que había hambre.
Today I wanted to share with you a quiet evening trying out new things; we went to a different place for pizza. This time we went to ‘La Panadería de la Loma’, a well-known bakery in the municipality of Antolín del Campo. It was a bit unusual, actually, because we’re used to eating at ‘Baguette’, which is in the Plaza de Paraguachí, and whilst the pizzas are absolutely delicious, just thinking about how long you have to wait for them is enough to put you off your food. Anyway, that day we wanted to eat quickly because we’d just come from my niece’s party and we were really peckish.
Aquí las pizzas familiares más el refresco tienen un costo de 15$, y no sé si fue porque mi tía las pidió así, pero lo que a mí no me gustó es que estaban muy tostadas y eso no me gusta, pues, aunque creo que ellas las pidieron así, y de sabor sí me gustó porque sí tenían un sabor bastante rico y también a diferencia de la plaza, que siempre son pizzas casi que margaritas aqui en la loma hay diferentes opciones con distintos acompañantes que hacen que la pizza tenga un sabor más agradable. Nosotros salimos super volando para alla y me encanto que literalmente las pizzas estaban rapidisimo en la mesa y no estaban crudas estaban muy bien la verdad y ademas de eso el ambiente es super tranquilo honestamente, asi que la verdad tanto el momento hechando broma como el lugar me gusto mucho, ¡Saludos!
Here, the family-sized pizzas plus a soft drink cost $15, and I don’t know if it was because my aunt ordered them that way, but what I didn’t like was that they were burnt, and I don’t like that – well, although I think they asked for them that way – but I did like the flavour because they actually tasted really good. Also, unlike in the city centre, where they’re almost always margarita-style pizzas, here in La Loma there are different options with various toppings that make the pizza taste much better. We rushed straight over there and I loved that the pizzas were literally on the table in no time at all; they weren’t undercooked – they were really well done, to be honest – and on top of that, the atmosphere is really relaxed, honestly, so I really enjoyed both the banter and the place.
