This is my keychain.I love it,and i love 'gong'馃槝
Gong was known as one of the musical instrument, mostly played by east and southeast asian.
For an example,malaysia,china,vietnam and philipines.
Here in Malaysia,Sabah have its pride on this musical instrument.
Sabahan played the gong at festival or ceremony were held.
During wedding or festival like harvest festival called 'Kaamatan',gong is a must.
At Matunggong Sabah,gong making factory can be found at Kg Sumangkap.
They sell gong there,and to enter you will need an entering ticket.
You will be able to see the largest gong been made called 'soludon'
Pesta Gong also held by Kg Sumangkap every year.
Gong making factory here in Sumangkap represented the tradition of Rungus ethnic in Sabah.
My family own 3 gongs at home hanging on wall.
If you paid an attention,you can see gongs at the left side of this picture.This is my parents together with their grandchildrens during their birthday celebrations.
Hehe,having a lot grandchildren make the house mess right? 馃槀馃槀
This is my youngest sister,taken during my engagement day, she was sitting on bamboo made, where made by my father and brother with help of the other villagers.
You can see there a gong behind her.
Gong is a beautiful musical instrument for me,personally.
But i am sure that people who know this musical instrument valued it.
Well,i am sharing this information according to what I knew.
