Materials and Quantity for perfume production

  1. *Raw perfume/essential oils (20ml)
  2. *Alcohol (Methanol) 20 or 40ml
    3 *Glycerine. (5ml)
  3. *Color. ( to taste)

‬: Explanations to all the listed materials👇🏻

Raw perfume or essential oils- is the main fragrance. There are different types: Caprice, vanilla, passion, seduction, mallizia, happiness, bakhur, 212, Casablanca, etc all these are different fragrance you can use to make you perfume and many more

Alcohol- also comes in different types: Methanol and ethanol, etc

Note: the higher you go in the homologous series of alcohol, the more volatile it becomes. Example; Ethanol is more volatile than methanol etc. So the volatility of your perfume will depend on the type of alcohol used. I will recommend methanol

Glycerine- it is the odor retainer. It makes the perfume to last longer on a surface ( cloth and skin) excess glycerine will make your perfume oily

Color - adding color to perfume is not usually good, it mighty stain cloth. So it is recommended you leave your product on its natural form

: PROCEDURE AND HOW TO MIX YOUR PERFUME

Measure the amount of glycerine to taste

Add the stated amount of alcohol (Methanol) to it and shake vigorously

Add the stated amount of essential oil(Fragrance) shake vigorously also and allow for 24hours. This will enable the full fragrance to come out.

Taste the perfume in your skin. It should be mild on skin (Not harsh)

NOTE: if you measure equal amount of alcohol with raw perfume (Fragrance), it is 1:1 (I.e one is to one) eg 20ml of raw perfume 20ml of alcohol
Otherwise 1:2 is 20ml of raw perfume and 40ml of alcohol etc pls this area is very important
For ur perfume to last for days use the mixing ratio if 1:1

However if u want to save money u can still use 1:2 and it will last for at least 24 hours ....in case you want to produce for commercial purposes
