I have, for years now, taught anger management; advising people tobe happy and not let anything or body put a wedge between them and their happiness. But today, someone got at me. I was damn angry, the demons in meall stood up and my heart was a bile. Now this was rare so I knew there was going to be some really big trouble, I didn't particularly want that so I walked away, first to the library, minutes later, to a restaurant.I found appetite and eat heavy. I thought I should change my schedule for the day, so from the restaurant I went straight to my room and then to my bed.I muttered few words like I was praying and then slept.I woke up surprised I slept that cheaply but happy that I slept. My heart was still hurt though, I got off the bed and walked out of my room. The first person I met out was a friend, he may have studied my face, I don't know, but then he asked me if I was fine.I wanted pretending I was but then I didn't, I narrated the story of what had transpired to him, his response was few incoherent wordsI'll never forget. Can words be this incoherent and yet this magical? They commenced my healing.A second friend met us standing and formed a circle. I narrated same story to him, he had asked me nothing. My first friend excused us. My second friend said little or nothing, something like, Chris, I trust you'll be fine. He led me to my favorite suya man around, talked to me about few movies he's seen, we bought plenty of suya, took plenty toothpick, there was onions, tomatoes and some other things. I'm back to my room and I am fine, totally fine. There's gratitude in my heart for both friends. They may not fully understand what they've done for me but I do.They're my today angels and I thank them immensely.IMG-20180315-WA0014.jpg
