In my life I have seen a lot of strange spiders, but the one that I discovered in my garden made me go through Google until I found relevant information since I did not know if their venom was a threat.
Fortunately, the poison it contains will not put my life at risk sitting near the garden. Leaving her alive leaves me with a clear conscience for both reasons.
Its name is the Jewel Spider and we can see in the following image that its shape is very strange, it is characterized by six thorns in a shell that if I did not see it hanging on its web I would never have imagined it was a spider.
I realized that when you place it on its back it plays dead and then after a while it tries to turn over but it is almost impossible due to the hexagonal shape of the shell.
I also noticed that it has a very eye-catching fabric ejector, it looks like a spiral with a black and yellow hole that makes it look like parts of a robot.
After I made her photo section on a garden mural, I returned her to her habitat but she quickly hid.
In fact, it occupied a large part of my time during the day, ma caused curiosity, satisfaction and admiration to see how nature never ceases to amaze me.
I'll be ready to photograph her aerial house when she weaves again.
