I believe when we were much younger we all do have dreams of choosing a particular profession that we wish to become someday in other to be a good impact in the society. There is definitely no child that would be ask a profession he or she would want to become that wouldn't give you an answer to it because it's a lovely question to ask a child.
But then growing up will definitely experience a different scenario and mentality on that chosen profession because of the challenges that may hinder in making that dream come true.
Before I share my own childhood dreams, I would like to appreciate 
The dream or profession I chose while growing up was to become a footballer a goalkeeper to be precise Which have always been my choice since when I was young. I am a lover of sports, football to be particular because I love every part of it and wants to become a professional in it as well.
The dream of becoming a goalkeeper came when I was in primary three because it came to my notice that I love to dive lol and seeing goalkeepers do that in matches by making lovely saves to boost my ego of becoming one someday.
My primary school then in Lagos State, Nigeria have a five aside field where we do play football during lunch hours and I always volunteer to be a goalkeeper just to stay between the sticks and aim to make nice saves. It is not surprising that most people that wants to become a footballer would hardly chose to become a goalie because everyone wants to play and score goals.
I believe with such profession if am to be in an advance country like Europe that dream would likely happen with support from parents as well to see that dream achieved but do to the country I come from it is not easy to see that dream accomplish due to lack of funds and connection because If you have any of this it won't stop that aim of becoming one.
Growing up wasn't easy and i really need to fulfil that dream but there's no money to further and my mum wasn't in support because she feels it a waste of time that I should read and pass my exams for an opportunity to look for a job.
I would have appreciate it if I was one today because I really wish I was in that profession to see that dream come true. Though I have a local team I joined where I do showcase such talent in a football match and I do get nice compensation from people that am doing well but at the same time it is not easy to advance from there because of lack of connection and funds.
Though I still play football to keep the hobby but not as a profession anymore.
