There are some 1500 light-years-long nebulosity that keeps such light shining. Nebula, like the flames of fire, is located near the stars of the Orion in the Orion Tables. The celestial gas in the nebula contains irradiated hydrogen and oxygen.
The original name of the nebula known as Flame Nebula is NGC 2024. It is a significant part of Orion Molecular Cloud Complex.
