German-American astronomer Rudolf Leo Bernhard Minkowski found the planetary nebula in 1947 in a tsunami of 218 light years away from Earth. The name of this nebula is Minkowski 2-9 (short, M2-9). The names of these nebula are Minkowski's Butterfly, Wings of a Butterfly Nebula or Twin Jet Nebula. Hubble Space Telescope in the 90's, this bipolar nebula publishes the first nineteenth photo. The red giant star, continuously disperse the ionized gas, produces a wing like a butterfly. One day it will turn into white dwarf star. It is assumed that it was before the star like the sun.
