What a long drive! It wasn't "SOOOO" bad. But I just can't deal with long drives like I used to!!

We did make a few stops! Had a little fun! Here is my son's post and introducing: Stein Jr. (Before we realized the markers dont erase easily!) https://steemit.com/travel/@imsteinsbrother/service-trip-blog-fleeing-the-bitter-cold

Anyway, we always try to make the most of a trip! We did some silver mining at 10-15 banks along the way....asking for rolls of half dollars and dimes.....and found 1 silver dime!! 8-/

Then we decided to get off the interstates for a while, and stopped at this creek for a fossil search and treasure pick. Here is a 5 min video of the stop where we find a couple fossils and see some interesting stuff:

First day working and got our hands pretty dirty building up the mulch of a banana tree bed and trimming some wild vines!

That is the skinny of it. We still have tons of work to do. ....Also, I hope to make it over to New Orleans while we are this close! And to hit the beach with the metal detector!!

Peace!
