There is a reason why the Lord rested on the seven day after stressful week of hard work and creation. And that reason none other than appreciation of nature, appreciation of one’s hard work, taking a minute to take everything in before you jump right back into it.
Do you remember after creation God looked at everything and commented that it is good? Many of us work, work and work and we do not even make time to appreciate ourselves for the things we have done. The truth is in our contemporary society hardly do people have time for themselves to make time to comment on others work.
So I feel you are waiting for others to comment you may probably wait for a long time. Anyway, so the point here is that, there are beautiful things surrounding us, take a minute to take it all in, decide to notice the beauty of that bird’s feathers, appreciate the blueness of the sky, bask in the sun and jump in the rain.
There is beauty all around you in nature, so when you work hard, take a minute and enjoy Mother Nature, rest as the Lord did on the seventh. Happy Sabbath
