Colossians 1:13-14; The father has delivered and drawn us to himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love. In whom we have our redemption through his blood, which means the forgiveness of our sins.
So in the beginning all was perfect, God had us a the garden of Eden and we were meant to live happily ever after, but then everything changed when the Serpent attacked, we lost our gifts of immortality were further cursed.
In addition we were separated from God and could not go back to him anymore without hefty sacrifices etc. But then the Lord saw the toll this had on us and the relationship we had with him and so he sent his only begotten Son to come and die for us.
Christ paid the great price with his blood that we may be emancipated from the grip of the dark one and in doing so he become victorious over death which was our curse. Now we get to enjoy eternal life and salvation through this him.
This is the redemption we have been made to receive as Christians and so for today i seek to remind us of the opportunity made available to us once more and for us to abide in this Grace and put it to good us.
Come to the father, repent of your sins and be save. This is the gospel.
