Psalm 139:14; I praise you because i am fearfully and wonderfully made.
If not for anything we do know that we are created in the image of God and that God is a powerful being feared by all especially the devil and his magnificence is just awesome in other words wonderfully. So we as his images fall within this category also.
Now there are many who have issues with their self image so much so that they seek approval from others just to be able to step there and move on with whichever decision they take in life. This should not be so and it only happens because we have not yet come to terms with the greatness within us and how much we are appreciated by the Lord.
When we come to terms with this acknowledgement and understanding we will begin to accept us for who we are more than relying on others for our image and looking for acceptance from society and friends. Not to say we should not follow societal rules or anything but our lives are our own and so long as we do what the Lord expects of us we should be good to go.
So focus on your life more and less on getting others in your life, accepts who and what you are for God made you that way and grow in the best way you can.
