Hebrews 4:16; let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
As human as we are, we are bound to make mistake one way or the other, commit some sins that we may otherwise not have wanted to do, not that the fact that grace and mercy abides means we should abuse it and keep sinning no, but then we should know that when it happens like that it does not take away our righteousness, the Holy Spirit came to strengthen us that we may overcome these temptations and be there for us in our moments of weakness. We only fail when we do not rise up again after falling.
Our verse today encourages us to come boldly to the throne of grace even when we have faulted or when we are need of help for the good Lord will not leave us neither will he forsake us, he is always therefore for us if we will repent of our iniquities and come to him. One thing that is causing lots of Christians to fall in our contemporary society is our fear of coming back to Christ when we fall into temptation and sin. Today I’d to bring to your attention that our God is an ever kind and merciful God and he will not forsake you. On this blessed Sunday I pray that the spirit of God be with you and strengthen you even as you walk boldly unto the throne of Grace. Amen.
