Being students of the scriptures gives us the privilege to acquire awareness of certain things before they occur. The Bible is the only piece of information that gives us knowledge about the past, present, and future. It is an advantage to us believers.
It brings us to the light on happenings which are certainly going to occur and not to remain in darkness. The reason for this is so we live our lives with all diligence. This is also for the sake of things not taking us by unawares.
If we know what positions ahead of us we would be mindful of how we approach it. We don't go ahead living our lives anyhow. People of the world may choose to live that way but not for us believers who are endowed with the knowledge of the word of God.
