Back in January my wife received this Lego Set for her birthday and she really loved it. In this post I will show you what’s inside and what’s the final result.
En enero de este año le regalaron a mi esposa este set de Lego de cumpleaños y le encantó. En el siguiente post les voy a mostrar que contiene el set y el resultado final.
If you are too young, Friends was a very popular TV series that ran from 1994 to 2004 with a total of 10 seasons with 236 episodes. We are not that old, I was 9 when the first episode aired, but over the years with all the reruns on cable tv we became big fans of the show.
Si es que son muy jóvenes, Friends es una serie de television muy popular que inicio en 1994 y duró 10 temporadas hasta el 2004 con un total de 236 episodios. Nosotros no somos tan viejos, yo tenía 9 cuando salió el primer capítulo, pero a lo largo de los años con las repeticiones en Tv de paga nos volvimos grandes fans.
This set came to life thanks to the Lego Ideas platform. A place where anyone can submit an idea of a Lego Set, and if you build it (physically or with a virtual model), and get 10,000 supporters, Lego will produce it.
Este set cobró vida gracias a la plataforma de Lego Ideas. Que es una plataforma donde cualquiera puede proponer la idea de un set y si lo puedes armar físicamente o como modelo virtual y logras obtener el apoyo de 10,000 personas, Lego lo hacer realidad y lo pone a la venta.
What’s inside? In the box you will find 1070 pieces including 7 figures (Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, Ross and Gunther) and a booklet with the instructions and some info about the show. The pieces are divided in little bags with numbers. Each bag has a section of the set and one or two characters. That way you can build it in order and follow the sequence without having all the set pieces around.
¿Qué hay dentro? En la caja encontrarás 1070 piezas incluyendo 7 figuras de los personajes de la serie: Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, Ross y Gunther además de un librito con las instrucciones de armado y algunos datos de la serie. Las piezas se dividen en bolsas numeradas. Cada bolsa contiene una sección del set y uno o dos personajes. De esta manera puedes armar con facilidad el set en secuencia y sin tener que estar ahogado en un mar de piezas.
And because it is divided in sections, you can easily build it in different sessions leaving the set for days without much trouble.
Gracias a esto , puedes armar el set en sesiones y dejarlo por días sin meterte en muchos problemas.
Here is the first character you can build is Gunther. You can find one in each section.
El primer personaje que sale es Gunther. Puedes encontrar uno o dos por sección.
This is the first section. It is basically the floor layout of the set. It measures less than 30 x 30 cm. It is not that big, and you can showcase it in any shelf or bookcase.
Esta es la primer sección. Es prácticamente el piso que forma toa el área que ocupará el set. Mide menos de 30 x 30 cm, así que será fácil colocarlo en un librero o repisa.
At the end of the second section, you start to recognize the set. You can see on the back the coffee machine.
Al final de la segunda sección puedes comenzar a reconocer el set. Al fondo se ve la maquina de café.
We needed to take a closer look of the set, so we paid a little visit to supervise the construction.
Para poder supervisar bien la obra, decidimos mandar a nuestras figuras de Lego para revisar los avances.
I think this picture was at the end of the 3rd section, and now you can feel all the detail even if it’s still incomplete.
Esta foto es al final de la tercer sección, ahora se puede ver mas la calidad de los detalles aunque no se encuentre terminado.
The set has 6 sections but at this point I forgot to document the 3 last sections, so the next picture is the complete set. Sorry about that.
El set tiene 6 secciones, pero la verdad se me olvidó documentar las últimas 3. Por eso la siguiente foto es el resultado final. Una disculpa por eso.
But as you can see, it is a pretty cool set. It is not difficult to build, but I think this is not for children. Did you like it?
Como pueden ver, el resultado final es bastante bueno. No es difícil de armar, pero no es juguete para niños. ¿Les gustó? ¿Qué les perece?
