It was 5 am in Flagstaff, Arizona. I was camping and saw this amazing decoration in the sky. I thought it was a rocket of some sort but here was nothing in the design to indicate a beginning or an end.

In 2015 I was treated to a number of occasions when the dawn skies were outrageous!

About one month after I was diagnosed with cancer, I was scared, alone, and depressed. About five times that winter, in 2014, I went out to my wood pile at dawn and was presented with skies like this.
