Now, I’ve completed shifting to a new place. The move was hectic since the climb to the new place is steep, and I had to carry my things there on my back multiple times a day. This is after employing labour to do the moving. But now it is complete, and I have to arrange the place to make it livable smoothly.
I’ve been stressed out during this whole time because of my puppies. If you’ve followed my blogs and the journey to moving to the mountains and deciding to live here, you might know Foxy, who brought 4 of her puppies to me for refuge.
I had to lock them up since the villagers started making an issue of keeping them instead of throwing them in the river. Since they were locked inside a room instead of being let out to play and run around, they scratched at the door when they were kept in for a long time. Over time, the door got carved out a little and the damage was visible.
When we moved, I promised to repair the damage, and the whole move happened in a hurry; in fact, we decided in a day. Now, the owners are saying the door is made of wood from a Deodar tree, which is the most expensive and rare to get here. Now they don’t want it repaired but the money.
Paying for the damage is a genuine thing to do, but demanding something just to loot someone in a situation is pure evil. Since I’m someone who tries to dodge fights and try to keep calm during most situations, I’ve been stressed out and not sleeping for days now.
One of the things I was hoping for when I moved to the mountains was to avoid human conflicts and societal issues. Somehow, this is something I’m getting into these days, especially when I start to get involved in more dream projects.
Well, let me ride this storm without losing my focus on my goals and keep an actifit streak in between all this chaos.
