Unity is synonymous with harmony, peace and strength. The opposite of unity is division. He who loves unity loves justice, and he who seeks division sows selfishness.

In the family, the greatest desire is unity. If there is division in a home, darkness prevails and hatred reigns.
The power of unity is important for a kingdom, a family and a society to prevail. The Lord Jesus said: "Every kingdom divided against itself is devastated; and a house divided against itself falls" (Lk 11: 17-18).

This is a universal truth. The best of projects fails if there is no unity. When there is division, no plan thrives. That is why Satan causes divisions among Christians. By dividing, suspecting each other and observing our weaknesses, we are violating the most sacred principle of collective success: unity.

Jesus said that the world would know that God had sent him if his disciples were one (Jn 17: 20-23). Unity serves to show the world the supernatural origin of the Christian church.

"How do these Christians love each other!" The people of the Roman Empire said in amazement.
With unity, the church can win the world for Christ. Without unity, the church is impotent.
Even the wicked succeed when they join. When looking at the tower of Babel, God said: "Behold, people are one, and all have only one language ... and nothing will make them give up now what they have thought to do" (Genesis 11: 6). This is the divine vision of a united humanity. The unit possesses incredible strength! Nothing is impossible for a united people.

In Old Testament times, when God wanted to destroy the enemies of Israel, he placed division in his bosom and made them face each other. Often, Israel did not have to go to the battlefield, because its enemies destroyed themselves. Every time clashes begin within an organization, it weakens. Unless they move forward together, nothing can do, for better or worse. Meditate on what the people of God can accomplish by working together and under their blessing, according to the laws of the Kingdom of God.
