In Jeremiah 17: 7 the Word says:
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
The trust of man cannot be in the same man. Damn the man who trusts the man. Full trust in material things brings consequences of emotional ties, putting trust in goods is falling in the field of idolatry.
There are many emotional ties in people who set their sights on the things of this world. Trust money, home, car, fame, work; All this in the end brings serious emotional consequences. The day you stop counting on all these material things, you will enter a state of depression, because you place all your trust in these things.
Material things must be enjoyed in a spirit of independence. Do not tie yourself to the material because it can have difficult and difficult consequences in your life.
The Word we read at the beginning says: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord.
This reminds me of the life of Abraham, who had many material riches (gold, silver, cattle, servants, etc.), his trust was always in the Lord. Material things never diverted Abraham's attention from God. Not even when God fulfilled the son of promise. Abraham was willing to sacrifice God, only that God did not allow it.
Abraham's trust with God was so extreme that everything that God demanded from Abraham fulfilled.
The man who trusts in the Lord is blessed. This implies that he will always enjoy God's favor and that the enemy does not touch him. He may face problems, but from all of them, Jehovah will deliver them.
When full trust is placed in the Lord, we are free from all fear and all situations that may create dangers in our lives.
Trusting in God means that my sufficiency is in the sufficiency of Christ.
I can't do anything outside of Christ. If we say that we fully trust God, it implies that we cannot do anything outside of him (Jn 15, 5).
However, we make many mistakes when we want to do things on our own and not according to God's will. In this case, we clarify the judgment, because outside of God, there is nothing good for us.
To trust in God is to depend totally and absolutely on God.
In Philippians 3: 3, Paul recommends that we should not trust the flesh. Trusting ourselves will lead us to live in internal agony, struggles and frustrations. Trusting someone other than God can lead us to a wrong and painful direction. Sometimes we trust a relative or friend, and we are betrayed, and we have very hard consequences.
The Lord reminds us that full trust must be placed in Him.
The right place to trust life and be successful and victorious is God.
God will not allow us to succeed until our trust is in the right place, and the right place is God. He is willing to give us the victory, but let's not forget that he should receive the glory he deserves.
