Lessons learnt from the Thanksgiving Service:
We should not neglect our leaders in God because the knowledge of God starts from one person and goes to the others.
We should always be on guard so that we would not be vulnerable to attacks of the enemy, that's why we should be vigilant and watchful because we have an enemy.
1 Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
If you lose your faith due to negligence, it means you have lost Christ an there is nothing you can do without Christ, because Christ is doing the will of God and the obligation of the father who sent Him and if you are in Him, you will be able to do the things which He is doing and that is the will of God but if you are not in Him, you can't do anything aside evil.
John 15:5
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 4:34
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
If we are in faith, we should always examine ourselves to ensure you've not left the faith. We should be able to assess ourselves to check our faith.
2 Corinthians 13:5
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
If you separate from Christ, you will not be able to do the will of God through Christ. The ultimate credit should go to God the father because Christ is doing what He saw from the father and it is God that is working on those that believe.
Hebrews 3:4
4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
Philippians 2:13
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
If you have Christ, one thing you should be certain of is that you have God the father.
John 14:23
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Examine if you are still in the faith or you have left your first faith. If we've lost our faith, then we've lost our warfare and fight.
1 Timothy 1:19
19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
We are members of one body, therefore we should not neglect each other, we should watch out for each others faith because we can only win this fight through the unity of our faith. Faith will give us victory and help us overcome the world.
1 John 5:4
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
John 16 :33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
