I have a lot of pictures in my gallery with a lot of memories they bring each time I take a look at them but the one I am going to share with you has the memory of the last time I was with my grandmother before her demise.
The pictures are not beautiful but I am glad I took it anyway. It reminds me of our last movements together as well as the conversation we had before and after taking the pictures.
The pictures were taken on the 5th of April 2024. I travelled to a place in the western part of Nigeria and decided to go and check upon my grandmother in hometown in where she is based before checking into a hotel to pass the night.
After making sure she was okay and a few hours of talking I wanted to take my leave but she insisted that I should pass the night which i did without arguments
After getting ready to leave the following morning i remembered that I got a cap for her and had not given it to her but to my surprise, I could not find the cap in my bag.
I felt disappointed cause I thought I mistakenly left it at home. As I was trying to take something from my bag a few movements later i saw the cap on the floor.

I gave it to her and she was so joyful as if the cap was a gold and she insisted we take pictures with it. I am happy I agree to take the pictures with her because that was the last time I was able to see her before her death even though we talked on the phone from time to time before she died.
