I've got a big craft board that I put on my bed so no accidents yet. I also have a metal jug from the pound shop to put my water in. It has an open end handle so it hangs nicely from my headboard. When it hasn't got water in, I use it to keep my tv remotes in it as I'm forever searching for them.

Mr Gnome is painted and back in the communal garden stood next to the headless statues. I used to have a neighbour who bought a lot of weird things from the flea market every week, including headless statues. I rent my flat from the local council. Every few months, they look around to see if everything is ok. I'm sure when they go in the communal garden, they think "there's some weird buggers living here" ..... and they are right! 😄
