The villagers have been waiting for Mrs Swan to hatch her eggs. Word had got out that the cygnets had finally arrived, so I popped down to the lido to take a look. Sure enough, the proud parents have had six cygnets.

Usually, the first week, the parents keep the cygnets in the middle of the lido or on the nest. Luckily, someone else had popped down with food, so they came to the side.
Every so often, if their parents moved off the little cygnets zipped through the water to catch them up. I hope they all stay healthy.
