I visited Bakewell which is well known for its Bakewell tarts and puddings. It a favourite tourist spot for visitors. A few of the shops are still to reopen. Sadly, some are shutting for good. The good news is, a few more cafes have opened, so hopefully business people are diversifying. Also, if you are a dog, I think you've got it made as they seem to sell everything for pet pooches.

There is now a pet bakery. I didn't check the cakes out as a) there was a queue and b) I haven't got a dog.

Very tempting to have a doggy ice cream but being a vegetarian I didn't fancy a ham and beef cone or whatever they had to offer.

Shampoo for dogs ..... fox poo, hair of the dog, top dog. A tiny part of me would like to try these. Anyway, quickly moving on ......

I popped into the local garden centre to find out that I can now actually grow my own longhorn cow. How exciting! I'll have two.

A nice shopping expedition albeit different!
