I found a new forest to explore today. It's Forestry Commission property so the car parking was good and no issues with access.
The sun was out and there's nothing better than walking through a forest with the sun's rays shining through the trees.
The forest has luxury holiday cabins including a Health and Fitness Centre, swimming pool, spa and gym, bar and restaurant. I only live 15 minutes away so won't be using the facilities!
We have had a few showers so the rain made everything look a lovely green colour. Walking through the forest is a favorite pastimes of mine. It is great to get away on your own and be at one with nature. I went back home really chilled.
