The disused quarry has become a lovely walking area and climbers come here to climb the Gingerbread Slab.
There is a quarry pond at the bottom of the slab. It was an unexpected find on our walk.
I'd love to return on a snowy day but I dare say I wouldn't be able to get to it. We aren't very good at keeping the roads clear in the UK.
