There are a couple of robins living across at the park. They are usually in the same spot as they are quite territorial. This one lives near the bottom pond. Unfortunately, there were too many people knocking about, so I only managed to get one photograph.
I did manage to get a quick shot of the second robin that lives near the football pitch. When I walk down the footpath, it will follow me all the way down.
There was a tufted duck on the pond. You only see them here now and again. It will probably stay for a few days and then fly off. They never come too close to the side either as they are quite shy.
The gull was paddling round and round in the water. It seemed to be in a world of its own. The moorhen in the background was chasing off the tufted duck. There's always a bit of hierarchy going on. Normally, everything chases off the moorhens, but this time, the tufted duck was the victim.
It was yet another gloomy day, but at least we only had one small shower. The footpaths are just getting a bit more accessible from the last downpour. Hopefully, we might have a little more snow at Christmas.
