We had another covering of snow today. I got my boots on and went out for a walk because the snow quickly comes and goes.
It looked lovely in the wood with bits of autumn colours still hanging in there.
It wasn't very cold so the pond wasn’t frozen over. Sometimes, during the year the bird life have their squabbles over whose territory it is.
When the pond starts to freeze over it's as though the birds get together to keep a part of the pond from freezing over. I always buy a loaf of bread and pop over to feed the birds.
By the afternoon the snow had all gone, replaced by wind and rain.
