In Eph 5:22, the wives should submit themselves unto their husbands (a Christian Husband) who feared God. This is very clear in the following verses that these husbands were God-fearing people and NOT otherwise because there are husbands who beat their wives. That is why in the Eph 5:25, the Christian husband also commanded to love their wives as Christ loved the church...
