One month... Staying at home for a month now... My girls are already getting used to this staying at home kinda lifestyle... Their daily routine is more or less fixed for now.
Morning time, both my elder girls will be checking their Google Classroom for their homework... while my youngest will be checking her Class Dojo for hers... Then 12.30pm will be lunch time...
After lunch time, they will have some time off... During this free time, they have many activities to choose... from playing board games, role playing with their toys, drawing, coloring, playing games (smartphone/tablet), etc...
Then continue again with their homework or if they have finished the works given by their teachers, we will be giving them some other extra exercises...
Later in the evening, sometimes they will be playing ball at the car porch... or they will be doing exercises (following those fitness videos in Youtube)... Then shower time following with dinner time...
Sometimes at night, if they have been behaving the whole day... finish all their homework and no quarrel, no fighting... then they will get to enjoy movie time or screen time! Just like tonight...
Not easy to have all of them at home whole day... But we have been "surviving" for a month now... Two more weeks... No idea when will their school will fully reopen... Not sure whether their online learning journey will still be continued if school reopens... But I do hope online learning will be integrated into their curriculum as this is one of the important skill needed...
Would you send your little ones to school right after the lockdown being lifted? I am not sure but it does concern me that by going to school meaning they will be exposed to big crowd... And children being children, we know they won't be able to practice social distancing fully all the time (well, even us adults, not all of us can follow 100% also, right?)... What do you think?
