Hello beauties 🤗💕, I hope you had an excellent weekend.
This weekend that passed, for me was different, I shared with my family at my older brother and sister-in-law's house.
My sister-in-law was looking forward to eating Venezuelan empanadas, but not only that, but also learning how to make them. It should be noted that my older siblings and their families never lived in Venezuela as such, they only visited a few times and for short periods of time. So they have a taste for Venezuelan cuisine, but unlike my parents, my younger siblings and me, they do not know how to prepare Venezuelan delicacies.
My mom and my sister-in-law organized themselves, and I was left with the task of preparing the dough and making the empanadas. What I did say is that I had never made empanadas for so many people, but I got down to work and after getting tired and without realizing it, when my sister-in-law and I counted how many empanadas were made, we noticed that there were more than 40, so I can now sell empanadas 😅🙊.
About the pictures, I share only a few of them, because as you can see I was very busy (and destroyed) making cheese empanadas, chicken empanadas and pabellón (shredded beef, cheese, black beans and fried plantain). Besides that the person I asked to take my pictures (I won't say names), is not very expert 😵💫😅.
Yesterday I really admired more than ever the ladies who sell empanadas in Venezuela, I admire their level of patience when so many customers ask them and even with shouts or in a repetitive way a type of empanadas and they all want them at the same time. Yesterday I only made 3 types and they took me to the edge of my patience 😂🤯. The good thing is that everyone was happy, they liked them and there were empanadas to go.
