Marriage does take work and effort. Respect of one another is vital. I just celebrated my 41st wedding anniversary earlier this month and can tell you if you don't respect your husband; don't work at the marriage and don't forgive one another, it will be difficult. Our world today is so ready to just give up on our spouse and 'go get another one'; as if they are disposable! It's sad, really. I know though, at times, there could be irreconcilable differences.
