I think in everything, there are 're-set' years, and perhaps this one is yours. You should do what you feel like doing. Christmas will be there next year and perhaps you will feel more like decorating.

I did decorate, but usually, I devour Christmas movies like crazy as early as November. This year was not the case. I've only watched a few and didn't even start that until about the 23rd of December-highly unusual for me. Perhaps it's my 'Christmas movie reset year'.
