I've been married to my husband for 45 years. He also happens to be my best friend! It's not always been a bed of roses, because as you say, there are arguments and misunderstandings. Habits or developed habits that drive a person crazy, lol, but in the end, being in love, being friends and of course being forgiving of trespasses, along with growing with one another and helping each other despite the times being good or bad, help to make a strong marriage.
