Hey Barb! I'm sorry things are troublesome right now, but this too shall pass! As for your brother and sister in law; it is written-judge not lest you be judged. We all have good times and bad times in life and finances are not easy. Especially now with inflation out of control. Stay the course; chin up; things will improve. Just live the best you can and if you think a decision you are making might not be the right one; seek counsel for sometimes another set of 'eyes' helps us to see clearly.

I pray your nephew finds the home he can afford before they pull the benefits. It doesn't seem fair for them to be in jeopardy just because he's selling his house. Housing is expensive; has he considered a condo instead of a stand alone house? Is there any help he can get to help him afford more? I might would seek a real estate person who is willing to work and find what he needs. If we were closer, I have a gal who I know who would find what he needs.
