My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2020

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY EVERYBODY!🦃🦃🦃

I kept thinking this morning that I was going to be seriously late for work-at least that’s what I first thought as I worked towards being conscious this morning. I was super groggy. Then I remembered it was Thanksgiving. Whew! Not late for work after all!😎

Showered, dressed and ready to face the day; first on the agenda was some much needed coffee! ☕️ Then it was to plan how to space out what needed doing. Two things were a must-cooking the bird and Zoom with our youngest son at 6 pm.

We chose a very large chicken instead of turkey as 2 people might have trouble eating that much. I really didn’t want to freeze it, so I found a nice plump chicken. I popped it in on a low temperature as I wanted it to slow cook.

As I was working on that, @silvertop was working on changing his guitar strings so they’d be done stretching by Sunday’s service. He was strumming and @actifit-lamb and her sister Wisteria had climbed up @silveryop to perch on top of the guitar.

I couldn’t leave to go hiking as I didn’t want to leave the oven on in my absence. So @silvertop took a short one without me. Unfortunately it began raining and he ended up very 🥶 cold! After thawing out, we ran through the music set for Sunday and then got ready to Zoom.

We talked for almost 2 hours and would have continued to except that both my son and I have to work tomorrow and we had not had our dinner either.

Dinner was tasty and after a spot of TV, a little blogging-it will be time for bed!
