This simply gives a clearer picture and explanation to what 1st Thess 5:18 say; ...gives thanks in all things... its God's will. What is God's will? Jer 29:11; good and not evil, for an end which he had concluded from the beginning (Act 15:18).
Being thankfu literally make you "tank" full which means for what ever readon you express gratitude, it never diminishes. Gratitude often leaves people feeling pretty good and ofcourse that should remibd us or rather give us an inkling of how God feels when we show gratitude for indeed the bible says we are created in God's image and likeness so if we human feel pretty good, howmuch more GOD. He simply seal and makes the reason for gratitude permanent to resonate a forever Joy in our heart (rivers of living water; Jn 7:38).
Gratitude produces a long lasting positivity.
Gratitude helps people to connect to something bigger than themselves as individuals either physical (natural with people inclusive) or spiritual (higher power; GOD)
Gratitude is divided in two stages according to Dr Robert Emmons:
#acknowledgement of goodness in ines life e.g thanks forthe gift of life at daybreak.
#gratitude is recognizing that some of thr source of this goodness lie outside the self.
Here, we recognize that someone is to be thanked for it, And who had made sacrifices that we could be happy.
Jesus went all out leaving behind his glory to reconcile man back to God, he was anointed of the holyghost and with power and he went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil. I tell you, gratitude is just a way of life you shoukd put on to seal your victory on a daily basis and here is how i think ypu can show that
In the mean time stay blessed of the Lord even as you make a conscious effort to give quality time to a full blown heart of gratitude to upwell within you without bounds.
