The Random Geometry Of Ranting

I'm terribly bored today, I've been changing my profile pic on social media, which is a sure sign that I'm really, really bored, disconsolate and feeling like tossing everything into the garbage, format my computer or throw it out of the window. It's hot and the computer is so so slow, it freezes every 10 minutes or so, which isn't helping me paint a poor mermaid. Maybe I should go back to pencil and paper for a while...

Ah! Etherium lost value again... why did I bother getting some a few weeks back? I really have no idea!

And by the way... something unrelated to any of the above, but why, oh why, (Steemit I'm talking to you!), can't post value increase when its 12 hours to payout? I mean, it can decrease but not increase? Is there a logic in this at all?

I noticed this when I was first starting but it took me a while before I could be sure. Every time I want to vote something, because I liked it and only discovered it in the 7th day it was posted, I get this error saying post payout can not be increased when it's 12 hours or less till payout, and I mean... my vote isn't even $0.01... And it won't let me vote!!!!! So in reality we don't have 7 days but only 6 days and half to make money with the post, after that well...

I would really appreciate an answer to this one, if anyone knows, explained as if I was five years old, because otherwise I think my poor senile brain won't be able to cope with the logic behind it.
