Hello, I hope you are feeling well, today I will participate in the weekly initiative, I decided to select the proposal #2 where I will talk about my favorite book.
Un dato curioso sobre mi es que me encanta leer y me encanta el romance creo que es la combinación perfecta para un lectora empedernida.Por ahora no he conocido alguna persona que le gusten tanto la lectura como a mi ni mucho menos el romance, y pues me pareció una gran idea compartir este libro con ustedes.
A curious fact about me is that I love to read and I love romance, I think it's the perfect combination for an inveterate reader, so far I haven't met anyone who likes reading as much as I do, let alone romance, and I thought it was a great idea to share this book with you.
Dicho libro tiene por nombre "Cómo agua para chocolate" de una escritora mexicana que últimamente he seguido su trayectoria como autora y cuentista se trata de Laura Esquivel que a través de este texto narra la historia de una familia mexicana de apellido De la Garza,ellos tienen una tradición muy peculiar dónde la hija más pequeña de la familia osea Tita ( protagonista de la novela) no sé puede casar y tiene que dedicarse a cuidar a su madre hasta el resto de sus días.Sin embargo Tita conoce a Pedro, este no se puede casar con ella por la estúpida tradición entonces decide casarse con la hermana de Tita para supuestamente estar cerca de ella.
This book is called "Cómo agua para chocolate" by a Mexican writer that lately I have followed her career as an author and storyteller, Laura Esquivel, who through this text tells the story of a Mexican family named De la Garza, they have a very peculiar tradition where the youngest daughter of the family, Tita (protagonist of the novel) can not marry and has to devote herself to take care of her mother until the rest of her days.However, Tita meets Pedro, who cannot marry her because of the stupid tradition, so he decides to marry Tita's sister to supposedly be close to her.
No sé a ustedes pero que un pretendiente mío,medio prohibido ( porque no puedo juntarme con el) se case con mi hermana para estar cerca, altera totalmente la química de mi cerebro ¿cómo es posible que en nombre del amor tu enamorado haga algo así ? y peor aún aceptar la situación y vivir con el dolor de nunca poder estar con la persona que más amas y dedicarte solo para satisfacer única y exclusivamente los deseos de tu madre a costa de tu felicidad.
I don't know about you but that a suitor of mine, half forbidden (because I can't get together with him) marries my sister to be close, totally alters the chemistry of my brain. How is it possible that in the name of love your lover does something like that? and even worse to accept the situation and live with the pain of never being able to be with the person you love the most and dedicate yourself only to satisfy only and exclusively the desires of your mother at the expense of your happiness.
Esta historia me encanta y tiene cosas muy puntuales como las que mencioné anteriormente que me gustaría dialogar con alguien ya que utiliza elementos fantasiosos para darle vida a la trama (además últimamente debatir temas se ha vuelto mi hobbie favoritoo)Se podría decir que lo más me gusta del libro es como hace uso de la fantasía a través de las recetas mexicanas que emplea Tita a lo largo de la obra literaria pues eso último es el tema principal y lo que le da vida a la historia,a quien no le gusta la gastronomía y más si es latinoamericana?
I love this story and it has very specific things like the ones I mentioned above that I would like to discuss with someone since it uses fantasy elements to give life to the plot (besides, lately debating topics has become my favorite hobby). I could say that what I like most about the book is how it makes use of fantasy through the Mexican recipes that Tita uses throughout the literary work since the latter is the main theme and what gives life to the story, who doesn't like gastronomy and more if it is Latin American?
