Holiness implies trusting the Lord and not the world, which often requires that we decide in favor of the first and against the second. The more we walk with the Lord, the more we move away from the world.
As Christians we need to be edified by the word through faith and allow God to govern our lives.
It is for this reason that the Bible exhorts us to seek God by giving Him the first place in everything so that we can obtain all the blessings and all that we need. Matthew 6:33 tells us:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
This does not if we have God as a priority we can calmly enjoy all the other things because they will come to us in addition.
Let's place all our effort dedication and existence in doing and seeking his will in all areas of our lives and thus we will see the hand of God in everything.
When we understand that the Work that takes place in our home is God's, we do not accept God's correction and teaching and we begin to build, without the foundation of God that is Jesus Christ, in our lives, everything that let's build it will collapse, it will not remain.
His word says that separated from Him we can do nothing.
In addition the Bible says in the book of Matthew 7: 24-27
Whoever therefore hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house on the rock. The rain descended, and the rivers came and the winds blew and beat against that house; and it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock. But whoever hears these words of mine and does not do them, I will liken him to a foolish man who built his house on the sand; and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and did not fall, because it was founded on the rock.
