The Bible tells us about many commandments with promise but tells us of an essential one that is the first commandment where this promise is fulfilled.
¿Doesn't it seem nice to love your mother and honor her?
Ephesians 6: 2
"Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with promise".
This commandment is unique because in addition to being a promise it brings with it a series of blessings.
¿Don't you think it's beautiful to love your father and honor him?

Exodus 20:12
"Honor your father and mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land that the Lord your God gives you".
If we fully comply with this commandment to honor our parents, our days will be extended in the land God gave us to inhabit it and our days will be full of blessings.
One of the things that brings us favors on this earth is to respect caring for and watching over our parents as well as they did with us when we were little. We must love him with all our hearts and we must honor him in any situation, since the parents are unique and God has not given them as a great treasure.
Proverbs 20:20
"Whoever curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out in the darkness".

When a person violates this commandment and disrespects their parents and really curses them, their life will be a nightmare because, they will not see light in any of their days.
For this reason, today's reflection is to tell you that if you have not done so until now, it is time for you to understand that parents are special blessed in our lives and unique, therefore they deserve honor from us.
