One note about the Explanator, it also has Stopping power, which can be useful against wildlife which use "charge" attacks ( a hit by something with stopping power actually cancels the charge). Wildlife attacks are being detailed and some of them do that.

About the little SMOOTY from Tom Settler, it has the Dropship keyword, which means it can fly again into space (more precisely, orbit) on its own. Which could be some kind of desperate escape route.
