Ardor is in the game since end of 2016 and didn't find it's prime. But it's time might have come. The outlook is a very smart synchronus communication between main chain and child chains. As the main chain will be profoundly securing all the child chains. This will make a highly scalable and fast interaction between systems possible. The core of the development is build on the NXT platform letting you make full usage of the NXT capabilites along your business or project.
There is a very promising roadmap ahead of us in 2017 and the best is yet to come.
I would highly recommend to give this a try and look into it. After reading through most of it and checking out youtube I can be quite re-assured that this is only waiting for an explosion on the altcoinsmarkets.
